The Bulls have opened as 11.5-point favorites on SBG Global Sportsbook’s Live NBA Basketball Odds.
Detroit Pistons (18-32): Detroit had scored less than 80 points in three consecutive games prior to the 87-75 victory over Cleveland. The Pistons received a big game from forward Tayshaun Prince, who matched a season-high with 29 points. Detroit could again be thin in the backcourt against Chicago after Rodney Stuckey suffered a hamstring injury against the Cavaliers to go with Ben Gordon’s possible absence because of a groin injury. The Pistons used 6-foot-11 Austin Daye at shooting guard for most of the contest against Cleveland.
Chicago Bulls (41-11): Chicago continues to win games without reigning MVP Derrick Rose, who has missed eight consecutive games with a groin injury. The Bulls are 6-2 during the stretch and 13-5 overall when Rose has sat out this season. Different players keep stepping up to fill the void and the latest was forward Taj Gibson, who scored a season-high 19 points off the bench in the victory over the Hawks. Gibson had failed to reach double digits in six of the previous seven games.
1.
Chicago has won 11 consecutive home
games against Detroit.
2. Pistons center Greg Monroe is averaging 16.5 points and 11.5
rebounds in two games against the Bulls this season.
3. Bulls
guard Richard Hamilton (shoulder) could return after a 12-game absence.
