Cubs: 0-3 (0-1 H)

The Los Angeles Dodgers are just tearing apart the oppositions and there is no end to their superiority as they need just a win to advance to their first World Series in 30-years. With the Yankees making news in the ALCS, a rematch against the New York Yankees from their classic 1978 series are just days away to reoccur.
The Dodgers stayed perfect in the postseason by winning their sixth postseason game when they upended the Chicago Cubs 6-1 in their third game and will look to sweep the reigning World Series Champions when the two franchise powers meet in Game 4 of the NLCS with the Dodgers owning a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
The Dodgers will look to advance to their first World Series since they won it all back in 1988 as they get ready for Game 4 in an NLCS showdown set to be broadcasted on Wednesday night on the TBS network at 9:00 p.m. ET and live from Wrigley Field in Chicago.
LH Alex Wood (16-3, 2.72 ERA) will make his first-career postseason start as he gets the call for the Dodgers while RH Jake Arrieta (14-10, 3.53 ERA - 0-1, 0.00 ERA) will look for his first playoff win this year as he will called upon to start for the Cubs. The Yankees still has a lot to do to qualify while the Dodger are sitting pretty with a 3-0 lead.
Wood will face the Cubs in the playoffs for the second time in his career but it was in a relief role last season when he threw two scoreless innings on two hits in a 10-2 Dodgers’ loss a year ago. The 26-year old hasn’t pitched since September 26 when he won the decision against the San Diego Padres. The North Carolina native is 2-2 with a 3.24 ERA in five-career starts against the Cubs.
Arrieta will be making his ninth-career postseason start and is record is decent with a 4-3 dossier with a 3.33 ERA during that stretch. The 31-year old made just one start in the playoff this in which he allowed no runs on two hits and five walks in four innings in a 5-0 loss to Washington last Wednesday. The Missouri native is 1-3 with a 3.77 ERA in five-career starts against Los Angeles.
